innovating the information age
Xerbase

The Xerbase database engine was developed as an alternative to current database technologies. A proper database engine should not be implemented to insure backwards compatibility of old mainframe applications, but to provide the best possible environment for managing data. The relational database model was developed over thirty years ago and hasn’t advanced much, despite its many inefficiencies.

The main flaw with relational databases is that all relationships are expressed by non-trivial relationships among tables that end up looking like a tangled web. Xerbase has the advantages of dealing with data in a very natural and coherent fashion. Our engine was created to handle a constantly changing data model where relationships in data do not follow a predefined structure, but can be created dynamically. This design serves to improve querying ability, development speed, and general quality of information stored.

Unfortunately, we cannot release any more information about the implementation of Xerbase as it is not currently available for licensing, though it will be in the future.
